How verification works

Pilots and owners send us their credentials and paperwork. Our reviewers look at each item before a profile or listing goes live, and every item carries one of these labels, shown the same way everywhere on FLYBiY.

Credential status

• UnverifiedSubmitted by the provider and not yet checked.
• Under reviewA reviewer is checking the submission.
• VerifiedReviewed against the supplied documents, with the reviewer and date recorded.
• ExpiredPast its expiry date. The provider is reminded; eligibility may be suspended.

Listing status

• Pending reviewNot visible to customers until review is complete.
• PublishedVisible in search; required checks are complete.
• SuspendedRemoved from search pending further information.

Verification means the documents match what the provider told us. It isn't a legal ruling on who may operate a flight, and FLYBiY doesn't give legal advice.
